NO SHADE is a Gen-Z sunscreen brand created to reframe SPF as playful, cheeky, and essential. The brief was to break away from clinical sunscreen aesthetics and position the product as a lifestyle accessory: vibrant, sticker-like, unapologetic.

Our Role
• Creative Direction: Developed a bold visual system inspired by festival stickers, candy-pop culture, and Gen-Z irreverence.
• Identity Design: Crafted the sunburst logo and brand wordmark, supported by a sticker-pack icon system (smiley, rainbow, daisies).
• Packaging: Designed a yellow + cobalt tube with sticker-style graphics — merging premium product presence with playful energy.
• Campaign Imagery: Directed lifestyle scenes (poolside, glossy skin, floating stickers) to showcase the sunscreen in real-world, shareable contexts.
• Tagline: Defined the brand voice with lines like “Stay Naughty, Not Crispy” — cheeky, memorable, and disruptive.

Outcome

NO SHADE stands out as a sunscreen brand that feels like merch, not medicine. The work transformed sunscreen into a cultural object — playful, sexy, and collectible.
